The Green Line serves as the main linkage to people living in southeast DC and inner Prince George's County suburbs.
Originating at Branch Avenue in Temple Hills, Maryland, the Green Line runs north through the Southeast DC neighborhoods, through downtown at the Gallery Place station, and north to the terminus in Greenbelt, Maryland, also served by MARC commuter rail.
